Introduction
Prova Society is a non political and non-government volunteer organization for social development. Establishing in 1994, Prova Society mainly was to involve in tradition development interventions. Within the passage of time, to be align with the new development momentum Prova has change their develop portfolio considering Five years development plan of Bangladesh, Vision 2021, SDG, priority of the different institutional donors and finally the development needs of our target beneficiaries as well as development partners. The present development themes are based on the Strategic Priority for the people that Prova Society is working for and the needs of particular geographical situation.
Prova Society has been implementing various activities in the areas of Income Generation, WASH, Sexual Reproductive Health and Rights (SRHR), Nutrition, Education, Human Rights, Child Protection, Gender Based Violence (GBV) and nutrition security to empower and ensure the security of the livelihood of the backward poor people of the society. At present Prova Society is implementing various development programs with success in Jhenaidah, Rangpur and Cox’s Bazar district.
Mission:
Making deprive in different form is the result of all development crisis. To overcome that Prova’s mission is to enable the environment and enhance capacity of the vulnerable suffering humanity to overcome the challenges through engagement (in planning, executing and monitoring), ensuring accessibility, capacity building and overall sustainable empowerment.
Vision:
Bangladesh have numerous problems like low literacy, low productivity, natural disaster, lack of gender equality, lack of employment opportunity which combined lead to low income, low health status and poverty. Prova Society has felt need of delivering social services as a catalyst to solve the prevailing problems of the downtrodden people of the country and develop their socioeconomic condition.
Major Onging Project
- Enhance livelihood option for the most vulnerable people
- Enhance Sustainable WASH and Menstrual Hygiene Management (MHM) for the disadvantage community.
- Enhance the nutrition status for the children.
- Facilitate quality education and child protection for underrealized
- Facilitate social protection, GBV (Gender base Violence) and MHPSS (Mental health and Psychosocial Support& Services) for the deprive and underprivileged people.

DISTRIBUTING SEWING MACHINE CEREMONY
Distributing sewing machine to the beneficiaries under IP-WISE project funded by Embassy of the Czech Republic in New Delhi. Upazila Nirbahi Officer, Jhenaidah sadar have distributed sewing machine and gave the speech the ceremony.
